Effective date: April 13, 2026 · Revision 2
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer, smartphone, or other device when you visit a website. They are created by the web server and stored by your browser. Each cookie contains a name, a value, and an expiration date, and is associated with a specific domain. When you return to the same website, your browser sends the cookie back to the server, allowing the website to recognize you and remember information about your previous visit, such as your preferences, login state, or actions you have taken.
In addition to traditional cookies, this website uses similar browser storage technologies, including localStorage and sessionStorage. These are mechanisms built into modern web browsers that allow websites to store key-value pairs of data locally on your device. Unlike cookies, localStorage data is not automatically sent to the server with each HTTP request, and it persists until explicitly deleted. SessionStorage data is cleared when you close the browser tab. We use these technologies for functional purposes such as remembering your language preference and theme selection.
We also use tracking pixels (sometimes called web beacons or clear GIFs), which are tiny, invisible images embedded in web pages. When your browser loads a page containing a pixel, it sends a request to the pixel provider's server, which allows that provider to record that the page was loaded, along with metadata such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of the visit. Several of the analytics services described in this policy use tracking pixels alongside cookies.
This Cookie Policy applies to the website svyazio.com, which is operated by Eduard Pashchenko (Sole Trader), based in the European Union. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), Eduard Pashchenko acts as the data controller responsible for deciding how and why personal data is processed through cookies and similar technologies on this website.
If you have any questions about this Cookie Policy, about the personal data we collect through cookies, or if you wish to exercise any of your rights under applicable data protection law, you can reach us at support@svyazio.com.
Under the ePrivacy Directive (Article 5(3)), as implemented by EU member states, and under the GDPR (Recital 47 and Article 6), different categories of cookies require different legal grounds for their use.
Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent. These are cookies that are essential for the website to function correctly — for example, cookies that keep you logged in or that remember your cookie consent choice. Without these cookies, the services you have asked for cannot be provided. The legal basis for processing personal data through strictly necessary cookies is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests), as the website cannot operate without them.
All other cookies — including functional cookies, analytics cookies, and marketing/advertising cookies — require your prior, informed, and freely given consent under the ePrivacy Directive and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. This means that before we set any non-essential cookie on your device, we must clearly explain what the cookie does and obtain your affirmative agreement. You have the right to refuse or withdraw your consent at any time, and your refusal will not affect the core functionality of the website.
For visitors located in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides additional rights regarding the collection and sale of personal information. While we do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA, analytics and advertising cookies may constitute "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. California residents have the right to opt out of such sharing. See Section 13 of this policy for details on how to exercise your rights.
When you first visit svyazio.com, you are presented with a cookie consent banner that provides you with clear choices about which categories of cookies you wish to accept. The banner offers three options: "Accept All", which enables all categories of cookies including analytics and marketing cookies; "Reject All", which blocks all non-essential cookies and permits only those that are strictly necessary for the website to function; and "Cookie Preferences", which allows you to selectively enable or disable individual categories of cookies according to your preferences.
Your consent choice is stored in a localStorage key called svyazio_cookies_accepted on your device, so that the banner is not displayed again on subsequent visits. You can change your consent choice at any time by clearing this value from your browser's storage (see Section 12 for instructions) or by clicking the cookie settings link in the website footer, which will re-display the consent banner.
Important transparency note: We are currently in the process of implementing a fully compliant consent management platform (CMP) that will technically block analytics and marketing scripts until you provide your consent. As of the effective date of this policy revision, the cookie banner records your preference but analytics scripts may load before consent is explicitly given. We acknowledge that this does not fully comply with the ePrivacy Directive's requirement for prior consent, and we are actively working to deploy script-blocking functionality. In the interim, we want to be fully transparent about which analytics and advertising services are active on this website, which is why this policy describes them in detail. If you wish to prevent these scripts from running, you can use browser-level cookie blocking, a privacy-focused browser extension (such as uBlock Origin), or the opt-out mechanisms described in Section 12.
The following table provides a comprehensive list of all cookies and similar storage technologies used on svyazio.com, organized by category. For each cookie, we describe its name, the service that sets it, its purpose, and how long it persists on your device.
These cookies are essential to the operation of the website and cannot be disabled. They enable core functionality such as maintaining your login session on the Svyazio dashboard and remembering your cookie consent choice. Because these cookies are required for the website to work as intended, they are set without requiring your consent, in accordance with Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive.
| Cookie / Key | Service | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
svyazio_cookies_accepted |
Svyazio | Stores your cookie consent choice so that the cookie banner is not displayed again on subsequent visits. This value is stored in localStorage and is not transmitted to our servers. | Persistent (localStorage) |
svyazio_session |
Svyazio | Authentication session cookie for the Svyazio dashboard (app.svyazio.com). This cookie is required to keep you logged in to your account. It contains a cryptographically signed session token and is transmitted over HTTPS only. | Session / 30 days |
Functional cookies remember choices you make to improve your experience on the website, such as your preferred language and visual theme. These cookies do not track your activity across other websites and do not collect information that could be used for advertising. While they are not strictly required for the website to operate, disabling them may result in a less personalized experience. These cookies require your consent.
| Cookie / Key | Service | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
svyazio_lang |
Svyazio | Remembers your preferred interface language (Russian or English) so that the website displays content in the language you have chosen, without you needing to select it each time you visit. | Persistent (localStorage) |
svyazio_theme |
Svyazio | Remembers your preferred color theme (light or dark mode) in the Svyazio dashboard, so that the interface appears in the visual style you have selected. | Persistent (localStorage) |
Analytics cookies collect information about how visitors use the website, including which pages are visited most frequently, how visitors navigate between pages, and whether visitors encounter error messages. The data collected by these cookies is aggregated and used to improve the website's performance, content, and user experience. These cookies require your consent. We use the following analytics services:
| Cookie / Key | Service | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics 4 | Assigns a unique, randomly generated identifier to each visitor, used to distinguish individual users across sessions. This cookie is central to Google Analytics' ability to count unique visitors and attribute page views and events to a single browsing journey. | 2 years |
_ga_8KZPBTX02H |
Google Analytics 4 | Maintains session state for the specific GA4 property (measurement ID G-8KZPBTX02H). It records whether a session is currently active, how many pages have been viewed in the current session, and when the session started, enabling accurate session-level reporting. | 2 years |
_gid |
Google Analytics 4 | Assigns a unique identifier that is refreshed every 24 hours. It is used to distinguish users on a day-by-day basis and helps Google Analytics calculate daily active user counts and short-term engagement metrics. | 24 hours |
_ym_uid |
Yandex.Metrika | Assigns a unique, persistent user identifier for Yandex.Metrika analytics. This cookie allows Yandex to recognize returning visitors and attribute multiple sessions to the same person, enabling metrics like returning visitor rate and long-term user behavior analysis. | 1 year |
_ym_d |
Yandex.Metrika | Records the date of the visitor's first visit to the website as tracked by Yandex.Metrika. This is used to calculate how long ago a visitor first discovered the website and to segment users by acquisition date. | 1 year |
_ym_isad |
Yandex.Metrika | Detects whether the visitor is using an ad blocker. Yandex.Metrika uses this information to adjust its analytics data collection method and to provide website operators with statistics about the proportion of visitors using ad blockers. | 2 days |
_ym_visorc |
Yandex.Metrika | Controls the operation of the Webvisor session recording feature (see Section 7 for detailed information). This cookie stores configuration parameters that determine how Webvisor captures page interactions during the current session. | Session |
roistat_visit |
Roistat | Assigns a unique visit identifier for Roistat's end-to-end marketing analytics platform. This cookie tracks the current browsing session and links it to a specific traffic source (such as a search engine, advertising campaign, or referral), enabling attribution of conversions to marketing channels. | Session / until expiry |
roistat_first_visit |
Roistat | Records the timestamp and attribution data of the visitor's very first visit to the website. This is used for first-touch attribution modeling, which determines which marketing channel originally brought the visitor to the website, even if they later return through a different channel. | 1 year |
roistat_visit_cookie_expire |
Roistat | Stores the expiration timestamp for the Roistat visit cookie, ensuring that the session attribution data is refreshed at the appropriate interval and that visit tracking remains accurate across extended browsing sessions. | Varies |
Marketing cookies are used to track visitors across websites and to display advertisements that are relevant and engaging for the individual user. These cookies enable advertising networks to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant advertisements on other websites. We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. These cookies require your consent.
| Cookie / Key | Service | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_gcl_au |
Google Ads | Stores a unique identifier used by Google Ads to attribute conversions (such as sign-ups or purchases) to specific advertising campaigns. When a visitor clicks on a Google ad and later completes a conversion action on svyazio.com, this cookie allows Google to link the conversion back to the ad click, enabling us to measure the return on our advertising spend. | 90 days |
_gac_* |
Google Ads | Contains campaign-specific information from Google Ads, including the campaign ID, ad group, and keyword that led to the visit. This cookie is set when a user arrives at the website after clicking a Google ad and is used to provide detailed conversion attribution at the campaign level. The asterisk (*) represents a variable suffix that corresponds to the specific Google Ads account. | 90 days |
When we use third-party cookies and analytics services, personal data collected through those cookies is transmitted to and processed by the third-party service providers. Below is a summary of each third-party service that receives data through cookies or similar technologies on this website:
We use the Webvisor feature of Yandex.Metrika, which records anonymized replays of individual user sessions on svyazio.com. Webvisor is a session recording tool that captures how visitors interact with our website pages, allowing us to identify usability problems, confusing navigation patterns, and areas where visitors encounter difficulty. The purpose of this feature is strictly to improve the user experience of our website.
What Webvisor captures: Webvisor records mouse cursor movements and positions, mouse clicks and tap events, scrolling behavior and scroll depth, page content as rendered in the browser, window resizing, and navigation between pages. It also records interactions with form elements (such as text fields, dropdowns, and checkboxes), though the actual content typed into form fields is masked by default — Webvisor replaces input characters with asterisks or placeholder characters so that the recorded session replay does not reveal passwords, email addresses, or other text you type into forms.
What Webvisor does NOT capture: Webvisor does not record keystrokes in a keylogger fashion. Text entered into input fields is masked before being transmitted to Yandex's servers. Webvisor does not capture screenshots or video of your screen — it reconstructs page interactions from DOM events. It does not access your clipboard, camera, microphone, or any data outside the browser tab displaying svyazio.com.
Data transmission and storage: The session recording data collected by Webvisor is transmitted to and stored on Yandex's servers in the Russian Federation. Session recordings are retained by Yandex for a limited period (typically 15 days) before being automatically deleted. Access to Webvisor recordings is restricted to authorized Svyazio personnel and is used solely for website improvement purposes.
You can prevent Webvisor from recording your sessions by declining analytics cookies through our cookie consent banner, by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser settings (which Yandex.Metrika honors), or by installing the Yandex.Metrika opt-out browser extension.
Some of the third-party services described in this policy are operated by companies located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), which means that personal data collected through cookies may be transferred to countries that do not benefit from an adequacy decision by the European Commission.
Transfers to the United States (Google): Google LLC is headquartered in the United States. The EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF), adopted by the European Commission in July 2023, provides an adequacy basis for transfers of personal data to U.S. companies that are certified under the framework. Google LLC is a participant in the Data Privacy Framework. Additionally, Google provides Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as an alternative transfer mechanism. For more information, see Google's data transfer frameworks page.
Transfers to the Russian Federation (Yandex, Roistat): Yandex LLC and Roistat LLC process data on servers located in the Russian Federation, which does not have an adequacy decision from the European Commission. For these transfers, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, supplemented by additional technical safeguards where appropriate. We acknowledge that transfers to Russia present elevated risk given the current regulatory landscape, and we have assessed that the analytics data transmitted (anonymized browsing behavior, masked form inputs) presents a low risk to data subjects' rights and freedoms. If you do not wish your data to be transferred to Russian servers, you should decline analytics cookies through the cookie consent banner or use the opt-out mechanisms described in Section 12.
If you install the Svyazio live chat widget on your own website, the widget stores a per-organization visitor ID in localStorage on your website visitors' browsers. This identifier is a randomly generated UUID that is unique to your specific Svyazio organization. It is used solely to maintain conversation continuity — so that when a visitor returns to your website, they can see their previous chat history rather than starting a new conversation from scratch.
This visitor ID is scoped to your organization and your domain. It is not shared with other Svyazio customers, is not used for cross-site tracking, and is not linked to any advertising profile. As the website operator who chooses to install the Svyazio widget, you act as the data controller for the personal data processed through the widget on your website. You are responsible for disclosing the use of this localStorage identifier in your own cookie policy and privacy policy, and for obtaining any consent required under applicable law from your website visitors.
This website uses the Google Fonts web service to load the "Onest" typeface. When you visit any page on svyazio.com, your browser makes requests to Google's servers (specifically fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) to download the font files. In the course of this request, Google receives your IP address, your browser's user agent string (which includes information about your browser type, version, and operating system), and the URL of the page you are visiting.
Google states that it does not use the data collected through Google Fonts requests to create user profiles or for advertising purposes, and that the requests are not logged in a way that is linked to individual users. However, because this connection is made to Google's servers in the United States, it constitutes a data transfer to a third country. The legal basis for this transfer is our legitimate interest in presenting the website with consistent, high-quality typography (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), combined with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision for Google LLC.
The retention period for each cookie is specified in the tables in Section 5. As a general summary: session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; short-lived analytics cookies (such as _gid) expire within 24 hours; standard analytics cookies (such as _ga and _ym_uid) expire after 1 to 2 years; advertising cookies (such as _gcl_au) expire after 90 days; and localStorage values (such as your language and theme preferences) persist until you manually delete them.
The retention periods listed above describe how long the cookie remains on your device. The analytics data derived from these cookies may be retained by the respective third-party services for their own retention periods, as described in their privacy policies. We do not control how long Google, Yandex, or Roistat retain the aggregated analytics data on their servers.
You have several options for controlling how cookies are used on your device. You can manage cookies at the browser level, use our cookie consent banner, or use service-specific opt-out tools.
The simplest way to control non-essential cookies on svyazio.com is through our cookie consent banner, which appears on your first visit. You can click "Reject All" to decline all non-essential cookies, or "Cookie Preferences" to selectively enable or disable specific categories. To reset your choice and see the banner again, clear the svyazio_cookies_accepted value from your browser's localStorage (see browser-specific instructions below) or click the cookie settings link in the website footer.
All major web browsers provide built-in settings to view, delete, and block cookies. The following links provide detailed instructions for each browser:
To clear localStorage data (used for functional cookies like language and theme preferences), you can open your browser's Developer Tools (usually F12 or Cmd+Shift+I on Mac), navigate to the Application or Storage tab, find "Local Storage" in the sidebar, select the svyazio.com domain, and delete the relevant entries.
Each analytics and advertising service we use provides its own mechanism for opting out:
Please note that blocking or deleting cookies may affect the functionality of the website. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without breaking core features such as authentication. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the website.
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights in relation to the personal data collected through cookies: the right to be informed about what data is collected and how it is used (this policy serves that purpose); the right of access to obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you; the right to rectification of any inaccurate data; the right to erasure of your personal data (you can exercise this by deleting cookies as described in Section 12); the right to restrict processing; the right to data portability; and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by changing your cookie preferences, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
If you believe that our processing of your personal data through cookies violates the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (data protection authority). A list of EU data protection authorities is available at edpb.europa.eu.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information. You have the right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold; the right to delete personal information held by businesses; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights. While we do not sell personal information in the traditional sense, the use of analytics and advertising cookies may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA. You can opt out by declining marketing cookies through our consent banner or by contacting us at support@svyazio.com.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, changes in applicable law, or improvements to our consent mechanisms. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" and revision number at the top of this page. If the changes are significant — for example, if we add a new category of cookies or a new third-party data recipient — we will also reset the cookie consent banner so that you have the opportunity to review and update your preferences.
We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies. The revision history is as follows: Revision 1 (April 2, 2026) — initial publication; Revision 2 (April 13, 2026) — comprehensive update adding full disclosure of all analytics and advertising cookies, session recording disclosure, cross-border transfer information, and improved consent mechanism description.
If you have any questions about this Cookie Policy, about the cookies we use, or if you wish to exercise any of your rights under applicable data protection law, please contact us through any of the following channels:
We aim to respond to all cookie-related inquiries within 30 days of receipt.
